Dr. Karisa Castner
Dr. Karisa is certified in Webster Technique (a specific chiropractic technique for pregnant women) and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) & Tampa Bay Birth Network (TBBN).
Prior to opening her own practice, Dr. Karisa was an associate at a family chiropractic office. She was able to care for many pregnant women, postpartum moms, babies, children, and families.
In 2023, Dr. Karisa welcomed her first baby, Harper, born 2 months prematurely. As a NICU mom, Dr. Karisa witnessed firsthand how big of a role chiropractic care played in her daughter’s development.
Karisa’s background as well as her own experience with pregnancy, postpartum, and life as a mom lead her to create Haven Chiropractic & Wellness. Her passion truly is caring for moms throughout pregnancy, supporting women postpartum, and helping babies thrive.
Originally from Michigan, Karisa attended Florida Gulf Coast University (WINGS UP!) where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biology. She then attended National University of Health Sciences in St. Pete, FL where she graduated Salutatorian and Magna Cum Laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine.
